Bigger Than Meby bvyComment by MattO: cool shot, especially for shooting from the hip. Street candids with backlighting make it tough since you dont want the flash giving away what you are doing. Manual mode would help this, as long as you knew which direction(into the light or with it to the side or back) you were going to shoot. |

At Asbury Parkby bvyComment by Ken: I like the angle you used on this and the somewhat solemn expression captured. A shallower DOF putting the background in focus may help keep it from being distracting. It's not overly distracting as is, but just a bit. |

At Asbury Parkby bvyComment by Lonni: I really like the processing - his face has a real sheen to it. A real timeless image -are you in the time machine side challenge as well? :) |

At Asbury Parkby bvyComment by one2one: Great looking kid. This is a nice pose, he looks natural and the composition is well done with the angle you chose. B&W looks fine. I see this with some sort of textured overlay added for even more mood and feeling. |

East Facing Windowsby bvyComment by epescala: Yes its over exposed, but i dont feel like it adds anything to the image. I feel like it makes it bland, and a little uninteresting. |

East Facing Windowsby bvyComment by raish: Yepp - this is the blowout. It's a little hard to say what overexposure bring to the shot. Maybe some more contrast in the harder lines might help it as an abstract, along with making some more out of the complementary soft shape at the top. I think it's what we'd call a good effort. |
