Comment by Germaine:
I vote for b&w, too. Their features are so similar, they must be related. The b&w accentuates this.

Hmn. Moments like this - zigging back and forth between the 2 versions - make me think I need some serious art training. In the original, the similarities in dress were more salient because we could SEE that they were more or less the same colour, and I found that delightful. ("More or less" is a useful and desirable thing in my opinion). On the other hand the background flowers seemed to pull us away from these more or less similarities; so yes, the BW is tighter and pulls us straight into the conversation of these two, but now I miss "knowing" their similar colour choices. Overall I think this one has a greater quicker kick.

Tnun called it true.. it is better in B&W - it cements the similarities - the overexposed areas are fine to my eyes.. in your work the high contrast is your trademark.. but that is just my 2 cents and I am not an expert in any way shape or form.. but I really like this treatment on this shot.

I like the redscale processing in this shot.. I also like the angle - but then again, I am a fan of your style of shooting from the hip .. I find it interesting that in the window there are three check marks with the word smart by them and three teens.. the texture in the bricks is set off well by your pp .. the dirty windows still reflect the clouds like nothing is going to stop a sunny day..I am an optomist today!

Everything about this shot works.. from the lines in the bricks to the funky hair, to the grain and grit.. you really out did yourself with this one.

My first look and I thought.. Laverne and Shirley, 30 years later.. they are so interested in each other, nice shot.. like how they almost match clothes wise too.. I wonder, like tnun, how this would look b&w .. the high contrast might really set it off.
