As you might imagine, you could hear this crew coming before they even turned the corner. As it happened, they decided to do their cussing and crunching standing right next to me. Camera was accidentally set to Aperture, so the exposure isn't quite right. I got this while experimenting with burst mode.

The strength of this shot is the angle, both from the hip looking up, and the diagonal formed by their positions in the frame.

Great expressions on their faces.. the exposures on the adults is really good..and I doubt there was anything interesting going on in the sky so ... ended well.. great glimpse into your neighborhood

Seeing the balloon and the baby I immediately thought that there might be a parade coming and that they're
waiting for it. You know we love our parades here. Lots of good energy.

awesome energy in this shot - the bright sky illuminating the faces and giving a great glow - it works great here

Nicely done. The mother looks like she has a lot in her hands with her baby. But that's OK here in Japan I see mothers texting on the cell phone while riding bikes with kids in a rear seat. I can't make out what is in the mothers left hand. Is it more food?

You're right about the exposure. Technically, there isn't much more I can say about it. It is really nice you were able to get the shot so close, but from what you said, it sounds like they don't recognize personal space too much. It really brings you to the neighborhood.
