The image is kinda soft. Although it does not feature true symetry, I think it would have done good if the screaming eagle had been tack sharp. Great catch light in the eye.

Thank you, I am new to this and want to improve. I took photos in high school and now it is a stress release and hobby. Next I need to learn how my camera works. Its my first digital. I can't believe how talented the photographers are at this site.....Thanks again. Steve

p.s. Anyone reading this I have a 20D and want to take double exp but don't know the trick on how.

There are quite a lot of things going on in this photograph, and unfortunately, they all seem to compete with each other for the attention of the viewer.

Fences can be tricky in photographs. Just as they are barriers in real life, they also tend to serve as barriers in photographs as well, restricting the viewer's eye as it travels through the photograph. I find that my eye wants to stay above or below the fence, and not cross it. It's almost as if there were two separate photographs here.

I do like the color of the mountain and sky, though perhaps a polarizer might have cut the haze and deepened the blues a bit. The "UO" stands out very well and I quite like it in this photograph.

There are so many (almost too many) cool things in this image! The mountains, the fence, the trees, the ranch sign all are great topics for photos - but it seems that having them all in the same photo is a little bit of overload.

The image is pretty sharp in the foreground, but the mountains in the back are a little soft and the colors are not very vibrant - especially the sky being a little too pale blue/grey.

Another issue I noticed is the horizon seems askew by a few degrees - even though the ranch sign is parallel with the horizon. I wish I had such great subjects to use in photos!
