I like the composition very much and think it's a great idea for this challenge. Technically, I find the focus a bit too soft and wish you had been able to bring out the luster and shine out a bit more in the silver and gold pieces. Maybe a good cleaner would have done it. In addition, I wish the background detail and lighting would have been better. I would like to see some more of it's color. It appears to be a dark blue, but I can't tell for certain.

I really like the composition of this photo. The glass in focus with the woman blowing smoke in the background is really inventive. The only problem is that it looks a little noisey. You might want to try NeatImage, that could clear that up. Very nice work.

Love the composition and the DOF is very effective here. What I don't like: glass leans inward, excessive noise, harsh lighting (wish it were softer) and one of the pool balls behind the glass is slightly showing which I find to be distracting. I would normally mark down for these flaws, but the composition and DOF is so strong that I"m going to give you a high mark. I would hope you would make this available as a print once it's cleaned up. Good job!

nice shot, but it could have been better if u could move the glass more to the right in order to expose the lady's hand while hitting it. DOF and lighting can be enhanced. Frozensun
