I really like this photo! I disagree that it is boring. I think it has a very bold, interesting composition, and the shallow depth of field makes it even more interesting.

Nicely composed with good placement of your subject in the frame. I would agree with coming in for a slightly tighter crop and also shooting at a time when the sun is less glaring to prevent some of those blown highlights. Looks like a great spot to return for more shoots.

I love the scene in this picture. It looks so peaceful. I think a tighter crop would have worked well here also.

I really do like the scene. It's beautiful! This scene taken at sunrise or sunset would make this a TOTALLY kick-butt photo. It's pretty anyway, but sometimes that after sunrise harsh sun keeps a great photo from being extraordinary. What a great eye tho!
