Yikes! I have seen some impressive photos here, and I've only voted on 22% so far, but if it were me handing out ribbons -- this one would have the blue so far! That curved pier adds interest and uniqueness to this glorious sunset scene.

Great shot, and I like the centered split of your water and horizon. At fist glance it looks like a long exposure with a lens zoom. The dock and rocks give this one nice focus and very strong elements of interest.

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1124 images, I gave 31 of them a 9. Your image was one of those 31.

There are lots of sea/sunset/pier pictures in this challenge, but yours is one of my favourites. I like the way the long exposure has fogged the water, giving the reflections of the sky a very muted appearance. Just enough foreground to tie the image together wonderfully with an extra splash of colour.

Good luck for a strong finish in this challenge.
