This is an incredibly well composed photograph. The 3 sections with different textures and tones along with the little lone bird in the middle is just fantastic. I wonder if this might do better in silence though? over 2/3 of the photograph is very calm. Either way, very nice.

This doesn't relate to the challenge that well for me, but damn it's a fantastic shot. I just can't stop looking at it. I'll have to drop you a few points for the tenuous connection to the challenge as well as a bit of a composition issue (I would prefer the random crap at the top to be cropped off), but in the end I think an 8 will do.

Beautiful vivid colors! I think this shot would be a little move interesting if the plant was offset from the center and maybe if the angle was a little higher.
