One Mans' Junk...by QuigleyComment by MelonMusketeer: Love the story. It's fun when they pick on someone who can defend himself. I like the chopper in the center. It looks a lot like a shark head, and cuts metal like big scissors. I built one for a friend of mine who works with scrap metal, and she loved using it for many years. It was not as heavy as the one in the pic here.
I also like the light and the jumble of odds and ends in this image.
You may want to think about a reshoot, or crop to just the one machine, for a fun personification shot. |

28 Yrs. 7 Mos. 9 Days.by QuigleyComment by dtremain: I like the artwork they used to put into tombstones. This is a nice shot - rotating to portrait would make it easier to read. Isn't it interesting how a brush with death changes one's perspectives? |

28 Yrs. 7 Mos. 9 Days.by QuigleyComment by BeckyT: You have some very nice detail in the shot. I like the centered composition, tones and how the stone seems to pop from the grass. Very nice photo. Nothing to be sorry about. |

Melting Metalby QuigleyComment by Melethia: Very nice effect! I think it would be even more convincing as a silhouette had the background been more open, with more light behind the figure. |

Champlain Monumentby QuigleyComment by jasonlprice: I love your composition here. The tree line coming to a point and drawing your eyes right up through the statue. There is enough form in the statue to give it great mystery. It is a great silhouette. |

Champlain Monumentby QuigleyComment by dtremain: Nice shot - lots of light and lots of shadow. Pet peeve - "banding" in the sky - looks like a contour map rather than a smooth gradient - but that's just IMHO. |
