~morning dewdrops~by annigComment by MelonMusketeer: Sweet image and poetry. The 60mm is a great focal length for flower macro. You can sneak right up on them. It is easy to get good sharp results hand holding at 60mm. I use a manual Micro Nikkor 55mm quite a lot, and sometimes add fill flash if I want more DOF. |

Orb Weaver (Il Ragno)by annigComment by bob350: First impression: cosmic spider. The soft b&w conversion turns the background into clouds and the web into a structure emerging from the moon and descending through the sky. Macro lenses really do open up an entirely different and wonderful universe. |
