Tough lighting situation. The shaded areas are a little underexposed and you should get a polarizing filter to cut down on that water glare. You should have gone back later in the day for more even lighting. I like the composition. It's an interesting view with the angles. Overall, a few technical problems and the subject doesnt have a lot of emotional pull with me, but it's an attractive pic and a nice little view into your world - very Euro. ~indi

The deep blackness surrounding the light and the way it only illuminates it's own base and the area directly below it makes this quite an atmospheric shot.
Personally I'd like the extra space to be at the right rather than left of the frame, and I am not sure I like the very yellow colour tone, this coming from someone whose favourite colour is yellow. I also find the refleftions in the base distracting, I am trying to work out what they are - that draws me away from the object itself.
I realise this may be deliberate.
