The deep blackness surrounding the light and the way it only illuminates it's own base and the area directly below it makes this quite an atmospheric shot.
Personally I'd like the extra space to be at the right rather than left of the frame, and I am not sure I like the very yellow colour tone, this coming from someone whose favourite colour is yellow. I also find the refleftions in the base distracting, I am trying to work out what they are - that draws me away from the object itself.
I realise this may be deliberate.

Interesting shot but Im not sure about the framing. Seems a little heavy on the left. Like the yellow and black tone though. 7 - floyd
