An appealing image that contributes well to the challenge

Well you've certainly appealed to your voters with this winter scene, I can understand why but its not really doing it for me, the snow on the lens detracts too much. The scene and composition and wood detail is good but the lighting is making the scene very flat and uninteresting. I'm really pleased for you that I am in the minority and that it has scored and placed so well.

Nice shot, COLD scene, a tad too flat on the HDR maybe. Let me quibble with your title: "less" is a measure of *content* basically (there's less wine in my glass) and "fewer" is a measure of number (you'll take fewer winter photos in 2017). I know I'm being pedantic, and it's not affecting my score. I like your picture :-)

You’re right Drake there’s plenty of detail there, it must have been a surprisingly bright moon given your technical details. The one thing that really detracts for me is the chromatic aberration(?), there is green halo all round it particularly evident at the top. Again, like your commenter, I have to be consistent having already commented on the bright crater at about 9 o’clock on another image I think it would have benefited from a little dodging just to make it a little less obvious.
