Predator and Preyby shareinncComment by DavidLevin: Its good but it wouldve look better if some of the staples had been broken to indicate that the de-stapler actually "killed" something. 5 |

Smithsonianby shareinncComment by KING: The DOF is too shallow in this picture. Because you used such a simple background I would like to see the whole subject in focus. |

Smithsonianby shareinncComment by Koriyama: As the image is already cropped, so its identity is hidden, I need, at least, to see the whole thing in sharp focus |

Predator and Preyby shareinncComment by eloise: Cute concept, but the picture itself isn't all that appealing. Take a look at the other picture with a staple remover in it for a more compelling (and predatory) set of posing and composition. |

Smithsonianby shareinncComment by qachyk: I can easily see something like this on a natural-history exhibit focus in the Smithsonian.
It might be slightly too tight a focus as a further crop would make the object harder to identify, but it isn't out of the question. There's enough colour neutrality to easily allow for the placement of coverlines without ruining the intensity of the photo. |
