Comment by Mephisto:
what the others said. and i personally think, that you got the skin tones just spot-on and perfectly balanced in this one, the other ones are too reddish imo (but maybe it's just my monitor, who knows...)

Comment by Mephisto:
needs some noise reduction on the back- and sharpening on the foreground. for the crop: either tigher like the others recommended or wider with the hands beeing in the frame.
otherwise it's well lit and executed :)

Lovely. I think I'd want to keep her shoulders at just a little bit more of an angle to the camera (i.e. turn her right shoulder away just a little bit more). Everything else looks great.

Cute girl. Perhaps too much blue? Ditto on the background.

Except for the crop (which you said is coming) I love it. Beautiful smile, gorgeous eyes, love the wind in her hair, the angle that you shot at, the angle of her body to the camera. All of these are working very well together.

Even in high key portraits, there needs to be some level of details that help the eye figure out what it is looking at. In this case, I feel like the bottom right portion of her face is simply missing. And while the rest of it might be just a tad harsh, I think I could accept the rest of it, if it weren't for the missing part of her face. Still, you might try turning it down just a notch or two to see if you can bring enough definition back to win back the viewers.

It's already been said: Background

When you start doing studio shots, you really need a pretty good distance between your subject and your background. Either that, or you need to shoot very wide open apertures.

The trouble with distance is ... the further away the subject is from the background, the bigger the background you need (due to angle of coverage). So it's a bit of a balancing act. A fast lens will help.

I agree about the crop and would add that this background is much more effective than the one used in some of the other shots.

I like the expression in this shot, she ahs a beautiful smile. It would be great if you could get her a little more relaxed but it is hard with posed shots.
