absolutely gorgeous! i love the editing. the dodging and burning are really masterfully done. one suggestion...sometimes when heavy editing/sharpening is done, it can leave artifacts or hard edges on faces, eyes, noses, lips. a very (VERY) small blur brush set to "darken" can clean up hard edges and "jaggies" like around his little nostrils and the creases at his eyes without causing a noticeable blur. all in all, though, i think this is a wonderful photo and it really should have placed higher.

What a shame that this gem was over looked by the masses. The lighting on this is just stunning. I wonder if you were hampered by peoiple with dim monitors. I love how you can barely see the details oof the face on the first soldier and how they get pregressively lighter. Simply put, this is a great shot!

A good mono conversion; the subject stands out well against the interesting bokeh of the background. I like this a lot, but wish, perhaps, that the character to the right of the shot wasn't in the frame.
