The lighting appears to come straight from the front, which isn't complentary for the model or the banana. Some more dramatic lighting might have helped! Maybe some soft if the relation between these friends is more than casual.

As an image itself, I think it is excellent, clear, sharp focus a sad story to tell and definately a bad habit. IMHO I see this as a man who has drunk to much booze and is sleeping it off I guess some people live this way all the time but this guys clothes dont look old
Booze is a habit and getting drunk is so I agree its a habit

Who knows what people like. I prefer this style to seeing a cup of coffee or a cigarette. I think you just have to be happy with your own image, or you would give up.

I think my latest images are the best I've done but they are only doing average so be happy with your own photography and style. It is
good to have different styles imagine if we were all the same

Greetings,

Not a whole lot of in depth critiquing I can do on this shot. The overall lighting is good (thanks sun), the sharpness is very good as well as the exposure. Not many cameras have too much difficulty with bright daylight. The composition is fine and your subject is centered, but the tail and string are both pulling my eye away from the main subject of your shot. This leads me to think that a different crop would make this a stronger shot, but would have lost your 'centered' composition.

The clouds and streamers are very playful and colors are strong, the composition is the weak part of this shot but was needed for this challenge.
