Other than the blurry dude nearest the store, I like the photo the best out of the three, I understand that you needed the long shutter time, which caused the blur, and I'm sure the store was slightly busy, but.....still distracts me, great concept, without the blurry dude, I would have given it a 6 or so....

Just to clarify things a bit, no flash was used in the making of this photograph. The light came from a street lamp which was situated about 10 feet behind me. I used a tripod and a 10 second exposure. I considered dodging some highlights in the sky to emphasise the lavendar glow above the city and bring out the stars a bit more but in the end I decided against too much manipulation. This was evidently a mistake as what I felt was the focal point of this shot, the contrast of the starry, purple sky against the autumnal colors of the grass was just not emphasized strongly enough for the casual viewer.

I will likely edit this photograph to emphasize the drama I see in it. After looking at it so many times, I feel it could use some judicial cropping at the right to eliminate some of the weedier looking grass.

*CC* a nice enough shot, though the main point of focus seems to be a small patch of grass at the front of the picture. Perhaps not using the flash and left a long exposure you may have created a great night shot, but the focus point just draws the eyes to that peice of grass, which is highlighted by the flash.
