I love the mood. It's interesting how the image itself looks perfect, but that texture adds a nice scratchy 'used' feel to it. I like that. I personally can't tell that it's soft as you mentioned - in fact I think that's one of the really nice things about overlays. The original image might look blah, but a texture works magic on it. :)

Very nice environmental portrait. Love the composition. The bright white fence is a little distracting...perhaps next time you should tear that one down and build a new dark wood toned fence before you shoot. :)
