The most appealing thing about this image for me is that I get a strong sense that it results from a combination of great camera work and great post processing. The composition is outstanding. It looks like the tree and perhaps some areas of the hill it is on have been highlighted through lightening and darkening the image. The motion blur of the flowing water is wonderful.
