The "feel" of the image could cover a variety of themes as it doesn`t really shout out anything in particular. However, there is no denying the impact and vibrancy of the post processing...particularly impressive given the limitations of the challenge.
Excellent work and with enough linkage to "Hope" to make it successful...9

Love the freckles! Only wish his eye had a catch-light reflection like her's, or we could see more of his face. Also, I think cropping just above her navel would simplify the image. But all in all an excellent pose, composition, and lighting - 8
