I have to agree with Anthony here. The lighting on the subject is a little dark which makes this photo off a little. Try adding a marquee around her and darkening the BG, or adding more light to her with the dodge tool.

It's a good photo and a good pose. A lot of photographers use train tracks for BG's as they are easy to look at and not distract the viewer. I think you did a great job with the angle and DOF in this shoot. Just work on the flash some and you will be taking awesome shots.

Nice degree of freedom here. I think a little fill flash would have done wonders for lighting her face up though. But the photo is gorgeous and she has a nice smile there. I also like how you didn't let the light provide harsh light (as it looks like it's taken mid-day)

It could use some work but is not awful. The pose is perfect. Do you have the original color version? It seems the focus is off a tad and maybe a reflector could add a lot to this. Keep it up.

Love it. The one person in the shot makes it. I don't like that the horizon line is dead center though. Kinda hard not to show off all the wonderful clouds though.

I totally agree with dwterry on the spotty lighting. I was taught never to shoot in spotty shade because it usually draws the eye away from your focal point.

Her eyes are beautiful!! Good job over all.

A wonderful job of editing on the eyes. And I love the background. And I really like her pose from her head on down. The arm sticking up ... well ... it's too straight and it's cut off.

But I'd really be wary of shooting in that kind of light (splashes of sun in amongst the shadows all over her face and body). Unless the light is highlighting what you want, and the shadows hiding what you don't ... it just seems problematic.

It's not awful. It's softer than I would like, and I think some directional lighting would be good. The model is beautiful. Keep working at it, and keep sharing. Todd
