This is so close to be great. But a bit more front lighting would have brought out the chocolate sheen. There is also a very yellow cast to the whole shot, which makes it less tasty-looking.

Well, the detail you've captured on this looks really yummy, but on my screen there is a yellow-green color cast to the whole image, which does not make it look appealing. Perhaps a white balance problem? Otherwise this is pretty good.

For a free study this shot probably doesn't have the WOW factor which you so need to score well. However, I think the concept is good and hope you get chance to replicate the idea in another challenge. I think yospiff nailed it with the processing he has done. I bet you would have achieved a slightly higher score on this with better editing.

I think the biggest problem is that it is way too dark. It has a lot of nice detail hiding in the shadows. I did a quick edit on it to see what I could bring out of it. Editing steps are in the image comments. I may have brightened it up a little too much. Hope this helps some.

I might have cropped this a bit tighter... there's alot of empty sky... but it's well photographed and colorfully pleasing. (not voting yet)
