Reflections - Nature's Double Takeby jjusaComment by mamba: Love the light emanating from behind the trees and the little oasis of colour in the trees. It's a good shot, but I think that it suffered because of the topic of the challenge, but as a picture in itself I really like it. |

Reflections - Nature's Double Takeby jjusaComment by Jedusi: Really nice picture - I would struggle to see it as a double take, I think if you wanted that the water would have to be like a mirror and show every detail of the trees in great clarity.
But still a really nice shot anyway : ) |

Reflections - Nature's Double Takeby jjusaComment by posthumous: well, there's the picture and then there's the challenge. I like the picture alright. The odd green light and the faded backlighting give this a sense of mystery.
But to try to rope in lake reflections into double take is a scarifying idea. Imagine if other people decided to do this. The challenge would fill up with yawnworthy landscape shots. Yikes. |

Reflections - Nature's Double Takeby jjusaComment by levyj413: I'm sorry, but I don't consider reflections to be two different subjects. That said, this shot is a little dark on my monitor, and I don't really understand the purpose of the green bit. With that desaturated, the curves would be nice, though. |

Towerby jjusaComment by rinac: Imposing image. Great drama in the top half. I'd be tempted to crop out everything from the railing down. |

Towerby jjusaComment by posthumous: It's not breathtaking but it does hold my interest. I like how you don't show enough of the foreground to show how it is connected to the larger structure. I like the doubling of the sky on the bottom (too bad it's so much cloudier in the reflection), and I like the supersaturated blues. |

Ataraxiaby jjusaComment by EstimatedEyes: Nice use of a mobile light to illuminate the foreground, but the subject as a whole lacks dramatic interest for me. |
