Warm Prairie Windby SonifoComment by Sonifo: Thank you all for your wonderful comments.
Some of you stated that I should have taken off my shoes, well the thought did cross my mind but after running back and forth to set the timer and run back to my spot I decided against it. To many cactis'
I am one who can't even walk in grass with bare feet. Ouch!
I am not sure why there is a pink hue in the sky. I think it is because we have a lot of methane work going on and big trucks kick up the scorio dust. Which is red dirt. ????

Warm Prairie Windby SonifoComment by emorgan49: This was my pick for the winner this week, I thought all that ice might beat you but I never thought you'd end up way down here - Under rated by literal voters? I can really FEEL the weather in this shot. |

Little but Wildby SonifoComment by jodiecoston: I particularly like the lush green against the dry, almost colorless background. I've tried to take similar shots, but have never been this successful. Gorgeous. Composition is especially good, also. Thanks for not plopping it dead center! I bet this makes a beautiful print. Any chance it's going up for sale??? :) 9 |

Warm Prairie Windby SonifoComment by Zeissman: I like this concept a lot.
That would look good in B&W. You should try it with a red/orange filter to darken the sky. Also, loose the shoes. This is the kind of stuff I have always thought of doing, and never did. Good work. |

Little but Wildby SonifoComment by CLarson557: The flowers are pretty and dainty. The background is interesting and I like it, however, it might have been better to clean up more around the flowers. For instance, the long stick that "falls" accross the top part of the photo is a little distracting. It could just be me, but the focus seems to be on the foilage on the bottom right than on the flowers. Other than those things, I really like this photo. Definately meets challenge. 8 Good luck |

Little but Wildby SonifoComment by kiwiness: Wonderful, simple and well done. You can see in this pic how spring flowers bring color into dullness. I find it could have been just a little lighter - 9. |

Little but Wildby SonifoComment by starblazer: I love the contrast here between the small pretty white flowers on the green fresh moss against the scraggly, needle-like, brown twigs (?). I would have removed the large horizontal twig lying just above the flowers. Good capture. |
