I think this image fits great for this assignment. You've got a lone subject surrounded by nothing other than a generic landscape.

I like it. Fantastic job. The composition of the skull is just right for the frame and using B&W is a good choice.

Hey, I thought this was yours cause of the color. I was right! Anyway, this image is really nice. I thought it met the challenge fine. I'm certainly not blind like the rest of em! The main flaw I saw in this photo was the compositional placement, which I am sure was intentional, but just bothered my eye a little. I'm referring to the centeredness of the seats and the horizontal lines in them where the backs are connected and the pillars holding up the roof as contrasted by the position of the seated people. I feel like my eye is being led on a strange path that is supposed to be straight but isn't from the bottom center to the top center and then forced to the right. This power of controlling the eye is a good thing, but in this case the leading lines seem to be drunk. :) Well, just my opinion. Sorry for the long critique. Hope it's well taken. The photo is! (after careful consideration I place all blame on the person who constructed those bleacher seats.)

You captured a great expression on his face. The angles of his body and the angles of the contraption he's climbing on complement each other.

I love this shot! This makes mw want to take my three boys down to the playground right now and copy your creativity!! Your composition is excellent. I'm assuming this is pretty well backlit and you used flash for frontal details?? Is he holding his breath?? Thaks for the great idea and I hope I am able to get a shot as good as yours! I give it a 10! Good Luck!

Simple and effective. The symmetry is very nicely done and the location of the boy makes a nice shot. 9 -danny
