# 6 Weekby SonifoComment by Melethia: There's a sense of the flying bird lording over all the others who are stuck in their lowly water positions. The vignette to me is too strong, but I am not a big vignette person, so take that into account. The part on the left, though, just seems to be forming a brick wall for the poor thing to fly into! |

Week #5by SonifoComment by Ecce_Signum: Am guessing if his balls trail on the ground he's carrying too much weight?
What impresses me most here is how you have transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary and am sure this looks best in B&W. Excellent composition and exposure (as always). |

Week #5by SonifoComment by SherwinJames: Those are some big balls. The lighting here is especially effective. A little dodging of the balls would be good as well. |

# 6 Weekby SonifoComment by Sonifo: Originally posted by pawdrix: How ironic...
I almost never take advice when someone tells me to change something in a shot, you know "...it would be better if you had" done this or that BUT I actually happened to take your advice on this one and added a light vignette, which I think worked like a charm.
So, on the flip side I would say I'd like your shot better if you'd pull back on the vignette. While you can see the bird in context it seems as though you're ruling out the background for the viewer. I suppose that's fine as it's your choice but why do it to such an extent? Still a nice shot. |
That's funny..I would still like to see even more vignetting on your image. I guess it is just a personal preference. I like more of the stark b/w and less gray tones. I do think I might have a bit much vignetting on this shot. I'll have to play with it. |
