Contre-jour Silhouette (b&w 2008 #1)by nikolaosComment by bassbone: fantastic lighting on the face - i love the ghostly feel created by the scene, the background, and the lamplight
i personally like the lines abover her- it shows us the actual world rather than the DPC world

Contre-jour Silhouette (b&w 2008 #1)by nikolaosComment by hajeka: My first impression, where's the focus? Taking a closer look it's very nice on the face, but I think all the lights are too disturbing. Putting my hand in front of all the lights and it's really a great photo. |

Contre-jour Silhouette (b&w 2008 #1)by nikolaosComment by Ken: There's a great sense of mystery and intrigue here, certainly due to the overall dark tones and light on the model's face. If the bright background were brought down a bit it would keep the focus more up front. |

Contre-jour Silhouette (b&w 2008 #1)by nikolaosComment by colorcarnival: Oooh artsy! This is something that would not get enough appreciation in a challenge. I love the editing done on the face. I would want to see the brightly lit house in the background toned down a smidge because it competes with the woman's face for attention. |

Contre-jour Silhouette (b&w 2008 #1)by nikolaosComment by Bebe: A great moody image. I kind of like the tower of wires, although a little separation between the model & the wires might be better. Beautiful lighting & moodiess - the light on her face is wonderful. |

Contre-jour Silhouette (b&w 2008 #1)by nikolaosComment by 777STAN: Excellent moody photo! You might try to duplicate layer, then max-out the contrast for purpose of template to separate between model & wires. Could aid removal. At any rate...Great as is! :) |
