Hey Terry, this was a nice shot. Should have done better. Maybe not seeing the fact brought it down a tad (I gave ya a 6). The story in your post adds to the image, but of course not something the voters could see or appreciate.

A good action shot rich in detail with plenty to look at. A good exposure resulting in excellant color. A worthy entry into the challenge with good detail in general and outstanding color and detail on the lead horse. A good stop motion capture. Originally rated a 7 on initial review, this had been rerated to an 8 for artistic effect. Well done.

Whilst I love that you have incorporated a human element into your picture I find the pose quite unatural and a little wierd, sitting at the side of the rail would have perhaps articulated the story more comfortably perhaps. All IMHO of course. Best of luck for the challenge.
