Charlene - Very well done still life study of the single flower. The dtails are very good and the centered crop works well to pull our eyes around the image. I just wonder if this has too much of a two dimensional feel with the black background.

Ahh shoot. I did not make it in time to comment on this. Even tho I know this is yours, I will tell you what I would have written. I loved the single white flower on the dark background. Really captures and holds your attention. But I felt that the center should have also been brighter. It's like the flower is a tad incomplete with the darkness there. Or maybe it needs to be sharpened - not sure? Anywho, the petals are just gorgeous. Great capture of the details in such a bright area.
