Exactly!! And it is not just Venice and not just tourists. Europe to those who don't live there is a "picture postcard" but to those who DO live there it is just home. And perfectly normal to have people with suitcases or briefcases walking through many centuries old arches. Or lovely Mercedes Benz cars parked in front of ancient castles. Anyway, I like this a lot. :-)

What I like is the neighborhood feel - there's something about the way the clover are all clumped yet all individuals that makes it feel like a neighborhood gathering in a way. Odd, but there you go!
