Don't think there's anything wrong with your gear. 1/90th shutter speed is what borked your focus here. That's too slow to stop people from blurring out slightly, even when they are standing 'still'.

Nice composition and it looks really good in b/w.

Nice capture of the sky, but there's not a lot going on below to make the shot work. As far as silhouette material (though that challenge is already off and running), that tree on the left is the thing in this shot that looks like it might be interesting.

This reminds me of a pencil drawing and that is my favorite median for art. I've spent many a hour with a number 2 pencil and paper just drawing fruits and other still life. Of course none of my drawings ever looked this good, but that isn't the point right? Interesting post processing, I'll have to try it. Awesome job with the light, composition, framing, etc..I really love it.

I like this for several reasons, first and foremost because of the great lines. I also like the tonal quality of the viens and leaf. However, the blown white background is too distracting and creates an inbalance in the otherwise calm composition (and the negative space on the top left too). If it could be cropped tighter without loosing to much quality (although it looks like you have gone about as far as you can) it would have helped imho. Also shooting a little up from wide open might have given you a little better depth to work with. I Like it though for the graphic feeling as you say. Well done overall!
