What happens for me, when I look at this photo, is that my attention is divided between the foreground and the background. I see an almost pretty painterly effect in the background and then the foreground seems somewhat unnatural to me. But it's cool tho because it looks like melting butter or carmel. I think it would have scored higher if the voter can tell what you really want the focal point of the picture to be.

A very cool scene. My initial impression was that both the background and foreground are so awesome that my attention is divided. Perhaps zooming in a little more to show the details on the peak would have been a good shot as well.
