Rainbowby lovethelightComment by kaiser_chief: An amazing photo and a case of being in exactly the right spot at the right time. The symetry of this photo work really well. The reflections off the wet road are also good and add to the photo. A great capture |

I had 3 rows of shots and 5 columns of shots, 15 shots total. It really isn't too hard once you understand the pano software. |

Rainbowby lovethelightComment by cgino: This is fabulous! I did think the foreground was a river at first :-) Excellent work on putting this together, nature's beauty at its best! |

Rainbowby lovethelightComment by lovethelight: Originally posted by MelonMusketeer: This is awesome, how the rainbow seems to go right on into the ground at the edges because of the reflection on the wet street. I saw that you were using the 24-70, and though " how did she do that with an APC sensor camera and that lens?" I have shot rainbows with the S 3 with APC sensor, and it takes my 15mm fisheye to get the whole thing like this.
I am glad that you are enjoying your new place. |
It wasn't NEARLY wide enough. It took 15 pictures to cover the whole rainbow :-D |

You say there was very little processing, does that mean that the sky really was that much darker on the other edge of the rainbow? The reflections in the street are an extra kicker. I would not have thought this to be a pano unless you mentioned it, cool stuff. |
Absolutely. I didn't do any spot editing at all. I just did a couple of overall lighting adjustments. That is what the sky looked like. :-D |

Rainbowby lovethelightComment by UrfaK: whoa! Awesome! And I know what you mean about going nuts when something this amazing is happening in front of you.. I had an adventure with a glass and fire recently because of that. |
