Food 17 - Salmon with vanilla cremeby hajekaComment by kaiser_chief: You are making me hungry.........A new rule should be any food images you should provide me with a sample......the UK is just across the water from The Netherlands anyway..........I don't know what salted fried Sprat is so it wouldn't make me as hungry as those Salmon crackers are..........
Good composition and depth of field. Even the Parsley here adds to the overall balance of the image. Another great food image.
After reading the other comments, I will disagree with them. I think food is best photographed like this, white plate and white background, especially with this dish, as the pink of the Salmon in the colour added, and the plate does not draw any attention away from the subject

Beauty in the eggby hajekaComment by graphicfunk: A very nice image. When I look at it my mind envisions a black vase to let the egg speak all the way down, but of course the effect would be different. Nevertheless, it is pleasing to look at. |

A helping handby hajekaComment by Skip: excellent moment, but has too much wasted space. should have cropped down to the top of the girl reaching down and over to the feet of the girl on the ground. you could also possible benefit from shooting from a lower perspective. |

Bridge in the eveningby hajekaComment by Abra: Nice location but I think you've tried too hard to get the moon and sacrificed the overall picture as far as lighting and exposure. I do like the movement of the reeds in the foreground. That windmill looks fascinating and I wonder if a tighter shot with that being more prominent would have improved this shot. 5. |

Beauty in the eggby hajekaComment by redpanda: That white holder interferes a lot with seeing what's going on. It doesn't work very well for me as it is, but this is a very captivating and powerful concept. 5 |
