i really like this sort of image with the shallow depth of field and something standing out in focus .. that valve looks almost 3D .. love the close up and the black and white .. :)

Hey, laying down in the wet grass is nothing.. I had to wear my tall rubber rain boots two days in a row so I could shoot photos out in the snow, mud, slush and water.
This tulip is definitely red! Beautiful!

The jutting waterway that divides the land and the lowering sky, which somewhat echoes the choppiness of the water, make for a harmonious composition. This is just how I've imagined Netherlands, the flat countryside of Dutch landscape painters. How the windmills have evolved!
