Playing at the beach (during summer)by hajekaComment by JimiRose: Nice idea but this shot lacks a point of interest (unless you count the washed up bottle). This might grab the attention more if, for example, there were kids playing in the distance, or a big yellow parasol where the bottle is. |

Day 02 - Dunesby hajekaComment by Ken: Before I read your comments I noticed the shadow detail, and that certainly is due to the pseudo HDR effect. The grass in the foreground really makes the shot for me; I get the effect that it's being blown by the wind, which can be seen also in the clouds.
When you get a chance try some bracketed shots and merge to HDR. I've found that different programs give different results for the HDR and the tonemapping. |

Day 02 - Dunesby hajekaComment by wickee_one: This picture has somewhat of a surreal effect. I can't stop looking at it. So many nice textures you captured. Superb job! I think I see the guy. |

Week 05by hajekaComment by pineapple: To select a moment and a subject and concentrate ones skills on those items is what you teach me here. The stillness of a moment - as is appropriate for a still camera - is not always easy to achieve. You did. Rembrandt would have preferred to put the light into the darkness; in that situation, one has to find darkness to dilute the light. |

Week 05by hajekaComment by bassbone: good contrast of the 'dark man' and the pretty blonde in the front - i agree with you on the head in the far left - it doesn't seem to work and a bit of cloning may work for you to maintain the neg space over there. |

Day 03 - Snowdropsby hajekaComment by creek41256: Beautiful image. You captured the delicate white of the petals without destroying the deep feeling of the green stems. Very lovely. |

Day 03 - Snowdropsby hajekaComment by Alicia: How pretty - I haven't seen those in years and years. Schneegloeckchen - I remember those from Germany - the harbingers of Spring. |
