Day 21 - Egg-timerby hajekaComment by datcat: very nice, love the matte and shiny textures. That is one flash egg-timer, very arty shot, would look good in print. Is there a hot pixel in the top right third?
I thought it looked like a conical helmet in the thumbnail, I must have helmets still on my mind LOL |

Week 08 - Mistby hajekaComment by twmax: Personally, I like it with the grain. It's one of those photos that needs to look a little gritty, and I certainly like it. That being said, as an experiment, I ran your photo through Neat Image just to see what the result would be. It took all or most of the grain away depending on the settings. My guess is that you did the noise reduction prior to re-sizing the photo. I've found that if you're looking for that "smooth" look, run the noise reduction after re-sizing. |

Week 08 - Mistby hajekaComment by Melethia: I like the grain/noise - it gives the picture a nice texture and feels the way fog feels. I also like it in the dark soft grays you have here - you made a good choice not to lighten it too much in my opinion. |

Week 08 - Mistby hajekaComment by Bud: The mist is suppose to be grainy - it looks cool, coming in out of the fog like that. The size of the boat creates the feeling of depth because the front of the boat is seen more clearly. |
