The almost recognizable objects distract, but the character of the subject brings it off. If only she could have paid some attention to the camera!

my only suggestion would be to crop some off the top - just to where the brighter reflection begins

Cups are fun, these are very pretty ones. Cups filled with strong coffee, cream, & honey are my favorite! I'm looking forward to this!

Hey how did you get some of my rose petals to add to this shot. Just joking, as I have just finished a rose side challenge, and the petals just look like they are the same as my petals.

A very pleasing composition, and I love the handles on these cups.

I really like this. I like the subtle reflection of the cups in the window. This looks like something I would paint, cups are one of my favorite subjects to paint.:)
edit for spelling

I'm on thin ice here, but I would say that this has too much of a snapshot to really work as a portrait. Technically it is quite good (apart from the background), but I would have wanted eye contact with the model. Given that, this could have been really good.
A portrait without eye contact would only work, I think, if it was part of the story told. A picture of someone following some action that I am not aware of or "part of" ends up a snapshot. (I've got a whole bunch of them myself, and none of them is any good...)

It's a clever photo and title and not a bad photo by any means. I think a more interesting shot would have been to focus more on that big boat and forget about the bird. But, that's just me.

Stupid gull :) I think i would like to see a little more contrast in the shot, but maybe it's the multiple shades of blue that makes me a little "uncomfortable".

Hum. I wonder what she is looking at, thinking about... certainly not the camera.
