 How beautiful photography can be. No school today, but we had to practice DOF. Went to the dunes this morning, weather was grey and dull, but I saw some wonderful deers (Oh, I do need a larger lens, 300mm is just not enough to get a good view), spent an half hour watching a swan family (parents and 1 kid) and saw a lot of beautiful flowers and insects. Here's one of my attempts to express Dof, almost no editing, except some cropping. It's called "Slangenkruid" here.

It's also very nice to see a real print of of your photos (that was my afternoon, I need them for tomorrow). Now on to the (dull) book reading stuff.

I think this assignment went quite well. The colors and DOF are awesome. Not to mention that composition, which fits the flower perfectly.

WOW..... that is nice and close, strong vivid blue, and I love the detail against he DOF.....

Very beautiful - the blue just leaps out of the screen. Most interesting DOF - looks and sounds like you had a great time. :o)

Grey and dull is good for flower shots. The blues in this are so vibrant. Excellent DOF. You should get an A!
