Ashleyby njsabsComment by smurfguy: All I can say is wow! Great portrait, Jennifer! Let me see if I can dissect it:
- Lit from the left - looks like flash reflected on a large card or wall. Can't tell how the hair below her left ear is lit... I don't see a reflector in her eyes. ???
- I assuming the cold color effect is mostly a function of post processing?
- PP effect for the lines in the bkg. Can't tell what the bkg is.
Well, looks like I have more questions than answers. =) +Fav, btw. |

Ashleyby njsabsComment by mia67: You did great job here, excellent on every level, What kind of PP did you do it? And she certainly looks like a girl from magazine. Message edited by author 2007-11-14 15:30:39. |

Jocilynnby njsabsComment by smurfguy: I really, really like this one! As I said, I like tight crops, and this is great! I also love the detail in the skin - some people try to blur out the skin, and I really enjoy this. I also think the posing is fantastic.
I do like the halo, but it's very subtle - I almost missed it. I might try a hair light to make her head sort of stand out from the dark bkg. But, maybe it's better this way. =)

Morning Sunshineby njsabsComment by briantammy: one of my favorites in this challenge. After i got over the sickly green face, i fell in love with this beautiful child and her long hair. Often the subject is all you need to make a great photo. ...also a good photographer to capture it. ;-) That backlighting works wonders too. 7, no lets make it an 8 |
