Ashley has very beautiful and exotic eyes. I believe she can have a real future in modeling if she wishes. Excellent work in capturing her unique beauty!

This is really nice. Only thing about this which irritates my eyes is the fact that hers aren't as level as the horizontal lines in the background. Her eye line is off just enough to ruin the symmetric component of the shot, but not enough to look as if her head is intentionally tilted.

A minor quibble, it's a wicked looking shot. I'm sure she was happy.

It is photos like this that remind me how much I suck at Portrait Photography. This is just awesome. Love the eyes. Nice work.

Wow this is great, her eyes look so intense. She really does look much older then 18, I bet she loved the photo.

Thanks for the break down on the PP.

What kind of PP did you do it?

I textured the background....which is blue and black fabric mixed together...I also reduced the saturation ALOT....she was laying on blue fabric and the original image looked very blue to me. She is in my garage...so natural light from the left with a reflector to the right and white fabric to the front of her. I did do some higlights and shadows adjusting and some edit work on the skin and eyes.

All I can say is wow! Great portrait, Jennifer! Let me see if I can dissect it:

- Lit from the left - looks like flash reflected on a large card or wall. Can't tell how the hair below her left ear is lit... I don't see a reflector in her eyes. ???

- I assuming the cold color effect is mostly a function of post processing?

- PP effect for the lines in the bkg. Can't tell what the bkg is.

Well, looks like I have more questions than answers. =) +Fav, btw.
