Mirror Imageby SomeamateurComment by PhotoDave: I like the solitude of the tree in the lake. Overall I like it quite a bit but I know its out of your control but if the water was just a little more calm it would kick it up quite a bit more.
Very nice either way,

Mirror Imageby SomeamateurComment by pineapple: Has a lot of graphic potential. For instance, clone out the horizon line completely. Then the horizon becomes the unseen horizontal line at which the reflection begins. I know this is not OK with the challenge rules but you can still develop this image further for commercial potential. You could also play around with levels and make this image a little more effective. |

Mirror Imageby SomeamateurComment by xianart: a very nice image indeed. the colours are super. i think it would be more interesting if the relection of the tree was complete as well. if the tree was a bit brighter, it would stand out more. perhaps a curves layer would help? |

Mirror Imageby SomeamateurComment by tjbel05: I think this is pretty cool. I like the concept, and the uniqueness of the single tree in the water. I would love to see it shot on a day when the water is perfectly still. |

Murray River Pelicanby SomeamateurComment by lantaga: Great color and sharp detail in this photograph. It is amazing that this was shot with a 18-50 mm lens. How close were you to the pelican and how much did you crop from the original photo. |

Dead Tree in Lake Bonnieby SomeamateurComment by salmiakki: This is a nice image - the b/w conversion works well here.
The one thing I would perhaps do differently (and I think somebody else already said it) is to try and get the full reflection of the treein the shot, it would have a little more impact. It's an image that actually works well with a centred subject.
