The concept is excellent, the selection/extract technique on the hands needs help. If you photograph the fingers on a white background and then extract them and paste into the shot you will have real looking hands and complete control over their exposure. Also, if a challenge offers you 720 pixels to work with, you should use all of them to increase your score. To me, the concept alone is worth a 7.

I could do without the border (maybe just the white one would be nice) and the hands could be a bit smaller (right now they seem to dominate the image) but otherwise this is great.

The pole on the left and the power lines make this look tilted. The lines may have to be in the photo, but the pole could have been cropped out. It's not a really good composition, though -- too cluttered. I don't care for the lighting. That could be personal opinion. Your sky does have a look that matches the title.

I get the idea of it but it is almost too contrived. I love the digital art approach, but the transition from photography to digital art just doesn't seem as as smooth as I'd like. Sure is fun to stretch the envelope though.
