Nice capture...really like the tone you've given the shot. Unfortunately, it doesn't really evoke spinning to me. Setting your camera on the lowest ISO and the smallest aperture, or shooting during a time of day when there was less light, or using an ND filter, all might have allowed a slow enough shutter speed to get some motion blur and give the photo a sense of movement.

I like the strong expression and the colors. The green eyes really pop with the scarf. I'm not a big fan of the editing though. Her face seems really splotchy and blured in parts and it takes away from the image.

great shot! most entries seem to automatically meld grain with monotone, but here you demonstrate great use of grain with color! my pick for a ribbon.

patchy healing brushwork, think I seen somewhere, to select the eyes then select inverse and gausian blur the face only to smooth skin, then neat image the fin work.
I Know zilch but this is my opinion, please don't take offence.
