ha initially this struck me as an old pair of boxer's shoe's with laces...took me a minute to notice the glove. nice shot i bet it's getting hammered. i like it 6 ok i'm not sure if this was an intended or an unitended homage to david ashman but after reviewing his work i will assume it is, bumping this score to a 7

though this is a "still life" (isn't moving) it doesn't constitute being a still life...at least not in my head...I will give you extra point for clarity of your subject...(so for some you are way ahead)

Tribute to David Ashman? I like the concept, I just wish the lighting were a bit softer. Just having someone hole a white sheet between the sun and your subject would diffuse the light nicely.

The problem with waterfall images captured in the complete shade, in low light conditions, is the absence of dynamic light. The exposure is good with little or no blown out highlights. Some of the land/vegetation seems underexposed. The colors are okay. The white balance is excellent and could have been off considering the light conditions.
