I think you blurred the background a little too much, but I like the effect overall. Colors are rather bland - this might be a good candidate for b&w conversion.

My brain can't quite process this one - you have achieved a strange effect with your choice of depth of field. For my tastes, the fence is just too isolated from the rest of the scene - I would have liked a little more context.

This seems like and optical illusion, I find the left very distracting, can't figure out whether it's FG or BG, seems too blurred.

the post processing blur seems to take too much away from this photo, a bit less would have actually brought the fence out more without looking a bit off.

First of all, welcome to DPC. I see that you have been here just over a month. I hope you are enjoying the challenges, as well as learning a bit here and there. The first thing that strikes me about your image is the size. Smaller images always get hammered by the voters. There are some tutorials available to help with properly sizing images for the challenges. If you use PaintSHop, check HERE, and if you use PhotoSHop, check HERE.

Get this sizing issue handled, and I believe that your scores will fare much, much better.
