Stolen Kiss by dsidwellComment by carsten: One of my favourites this week. Great composition and the colors are perfect. So is focus and the cropping. Perhaps I had mede it a little darker but that would probably had spoiled the white background. Meets the challenge very well. Well done and good luck! |

Stolen Kiss by dsidwellComment by qachyk: Huh. That's... different. Well, you certainly do use complementary colours, and I suppose that it's a good picture in general, but I'm still not quite sure what I really think of it. |

Stolen Kiss by dsidwellComment by frisca: adorable! What a unique idea, and well executed. I love the set up, like the kisses snuck up and ambushed the apple. :) |

Butterfly Fantasy by dsidwellComment by paganini: Thanks David. Sorry this has caused soo much controversy :) when I made the comment (and I probably should've made it during the challenge but didn't have the time) it was referring to my initial reaction at the image which was "Wow, what a good nature shot"... then realized it wasn't nature shot but presented this way. That's my gripe, it wasn't personal but probably should've left the comment during the voting instead of after.
Originally posted by dsidwell: Actually, I don't think Paganini's thoughts were "sour grapes" at all. In his defense, he has great reason to be pleased with his work on the site, and I encourage you to explore his good work. I just think he disagrees in theory with this type or style of photography. |
