Strange to say, I was just looking through your portfolio and lo and behold you make a comment on my Water Street image. Thanks. Your Heading Home grabbed my attention for a while, partly because I was remembering that once famous book, Children of the New Forest a night or two back. It is a great adventure in a wonderful place. Your photo captures some of the mystery and the history, for me. That cow just needed a little bit of choreography as regards legs though. But then again, it is a natural image not contrived. Nice work and I enjoy your portfolio.

The tree is a cute touch. That looks like about a 30 ft boat, and it seems to be sitting very low in the water. I like the haze behind it. It seems to be foggy or a misting rain coming from the other side of the river. I feel that it all looks just about right for a winter's day on the water. It sure looks cold there.
