The Little Owlby JedusiComment by SaraR: OMG, I am so envious, and so in awe. I have a photo of a Little Owl, but it was taken at the Rutland Owl and Falconry Centre: I haven't seen one in the wild for years. This composition is so good. Excellent! |

Simply Squirrelby JedusiComment by Dominic146: This is an awesome shot. The colors are great in it. The DOF is perfect, but to me it looks a tad soft. The pose you've captured is awesome, with his tail up in the air and munching down some food. The composition is very nice as well. The flower to me is a bit distracting. |

The Little Owlby JedusiComment by trevytrev: Pygmy Owl!!! That's one small raptor, beautiful capture! I'll have to look that one up and read about it's diet, must be insects and small rodents. Gotta love that lens at 1/40 sec and still very blur free! |

Love the way he is munching with his little cheek puffed out. You even have a sprig in the background making this shot worthy of "Better Homes and Gardens"...or something like that :)
